I spent 25 yrs ministering there one Sunday a Month up untill 2011 for PineView Church. After 5 yrs I returned to visit friends as residents and one convelesing. I could only hope to spend my convelesing days there!
The Gilbert Residence was my home, my family, I loved working with the residence they made me feel welcome into there lives, they made me feel young and strong I was always there when they needed me I was right there to help no matter what, I was there for them, I will always cherish the good time and the bad times and thanks for those who appreciate my service, I will never for get 2006--2015 :)
Both my parents have been living together at The Gilbert Residence. My father recently passed away. He was treated with the utmost respect. The nursing staff, the CENA staff, Southern Hospice Care, and the social worker took wonderful care of him and us during this sad time. No request was too much and we were comforted at every turn. I am so thankful my dad spent the last almost 2 years in their care while my mother continues to receive their care.
