It is very clear that management thinks they can deal unprofessionally, and probably illegally, with renting because tenants are students. 37 days to get my deposit back, but only because I was persistent about contacting their office. Several people reached out to me after hearing about my experience stating they NEVER received their deposits back after moving out. Edit: Lived at Steeples Glen; See LA Rev. Stat. § 9:3251; also the contractual lease I signed gave the landlord a 30 day obligation to return deposit.
