OH My! what else can be said! Very unusual Doctor, in that he listens, is not rushed, knows his stuff and a good personality to boot. I had Dr. Moran 15 years ago when I needed surgery. And have sought him out again now. Twice now he has diagnosed 2 conditions that I had previously discussed with a variety of other doctors and NP's who didn't know what I was talking about and never offered to do any research to find out what may be causing these 2 conditions. Dr. Moran has been an excellent and wonderful physician he took care of me from day one and he has been very patient and veryunderstanding and each visit he definitely spent a good time listeningand he spent enough time to address all the concerns that might have. If I could give this place negative stars I would. Trixie who works the front desk is incredibly rude and inconsiderate. I questioned the amounts she was charging me, and after that it went down hill. She would tell me my insurance wasn't active, when it was. She said i needed to pay completely out of pocket for all of my prenatal visits because i couldn't be trusted. She told me, it was people like me that caused them to be $40k in debt. Dr. Moran took wonderful care of our Mother during her recent surgery. He truly cares about his patients which is evident by her quick recovery and improved health. His office team was also helpful and answered all our questions in a timely manner.
Dr Moran was on call the day I delivered. He was grumpy and unprofessional. Instead of catching my baby, he let my baby fall to the edge of the bed and made a rude comment saying that she came out like a football. He was lucky nothing happened to her and I was already in distress. While delivering my placenta, he asked me if I wanted to take it home to make Placenta Pad Thai Or bury it under my house (referring to my ethnicity). II’ve never felt so belittled in my life! Staff is very rude and they want to charge for everything. I found out I was pregnant, but Dr didn't told me how far I was when was my due date.
Dr. Moran is an amazing Doctor
Dr. Moran always appeared very interested in my well being and took time to discuss my health conditions with me, as well as other concerns. He took me off the medication my primary care physician kept re-prescribing because recent research indicated I needed to take a break from it. I moved out of state shortly thereafter and got a new doctor. She agreed with Dr. Moran that I should have been taken off the medication. I am also very pleased with the results of the surgery he performed.
Dr. Moran is a wonderful physician. He has always been warm and answered all of my questions. Him and his office staff have worked with me and my work schedule with no issues. I've never waited in the office for more than 10 minutes. My claims are billed to my insurance accurately and quickly, usually within a week, which I appreciate. The office manager (spouse) has always been kind and took her time with me in her office. He's the only ob/gyn I will see in the central valley.
