Very caring physician who has treated me, and several of my family members over the past 25 years. I appreciate that his first choice of treatment is not surgery and that he takes the time to explain what the actual problem is in layman's terms. I recommend him without reservation.
He fixed my finger pain after a car accident & did my surgery for my elbow after a bicycle accident. As someone who worked in the medical field it’s very rare that I’ve come across such an amazing doctor that is so caring and attentive! 10/10 recommend. If I ever have another hand issue I will only be going to see dr.Gilbert! His staff is amazing as well
He preformed successful tendon transfer on my hand. I had lost use of my thumb and could no longer tie my shoes or button my shirt. He is a skilled hand surgeon who is devoted to his patients
After consulting with Dr Gilbert I was told surgiclcal debridement of a wound that had lytic bone and probable osteomyelitis . He personally told me the procedure would be a nerve block and local anasthetic , and I wouldn't feel anything. The following day , which was 24 hrs prior to scheduled surgery , the surgical center called and asked who was dropping me off / picking me up. I asked why that would be necessary because I would be conscious and asked them to talk to Dr Gilbert because there must have been miscommunication... read more
Dr. Gilbert is a bit odd, but a good doc. He is thorough. I had Carpal Tunnel on each hand at two separate times and each experience was great. His office staff is quick to return a call or email and always smiling.
Wonderful physician and wonderful staff
Dr. Gilbert performed Carpal and Cubital Tunnel surgery on my hand and elbow respectively, successfully eliminating the daily chronic pain that I used to feel in my hand and fingers. I no longer wake up each morning with a burning sensation in my hand!
I am highly impressed by Doctor Gilbert's overall treatment of my surgery. It was accomplished without any complications. I did not have any pain after the surgery, nor the physical therapy after. Alex was the therapist who provided most of my treatments, and I was highly impressed by his ability. All staff was both highly professional and efficient. Referred to Dr. Gilbert for a blood vessel tumor of my dominant hand (so bad I could not even write my name). He performed the surgery and I have almost normal hand function 2 weeks post op! Dr. Gilbert did an excellent job and is was very enthusiastic about everything. The staff is also extremely friendly and do an amazing job. Will recommend to anyone that I meet.
