so I had an issue with the fact that I was racially profiled and wrongfully accused of something which left me unable to make a gig, (was in jail) WRONGFULLY.. now what does this have to do with gigsalad? Company and Santa Irwin failed. Our 12/15/24 reservation for Santa was made 12/19/23, a year prior to our event. In the full year of time, at no point did Gig Salad double check and confirm details of the event. A token, auto generated email was sent to confirm, but nobody is actually looking through the reservations, because if they did, SOMEONE would have reached out with questions. Gig Salad filters what reviews are allowed on their site. I booked a bartender thru GigSalad for a company event approx 100 attendees. They said as a courtesy they would be there a half hour early to set up. Bartender & server were late not early, so my staff, who were there to mingle with clients wound up mixing drinks, and settle the crowd who was not happy. We booked 2 servers through a vendor on gigsalad. This vendor showed up late and lost all of our dinner plates that we used for our wedding and had planned to re-sell. The servers were the only people allowed to touch the plates and were responsible for them during and after dinner service. We do not know where they went, but they are gone. The company owner refuses to take any responsibility and refuses to ask the servers what they did with them.
