I grew up in a country where rotisserie chicken is something you seek and enjoy rather than something you pick up at costco if you’re too tired to make dinner. This place reminded me that a rotisserie chicken is a celebration of chicken. Their wine selection is dope too. And the sides were sick I could eat those butter beans everyday … The almond cake with sour cherry was exquisite I didn’t have room to try the parfait but next time hopefully. It was really a celebration of all those ingredients. Santé !
What a wine list. Best in NYC right now because it takes some risks, keeps it fun, and feels like I'm exploring. I highly doubt any 3 Michelin Star in NYC has this much Roch on the list. Maitake mushroom and the half chicken with fresh snap peas - perfect.
My favorite new Greenpoint opening in a long, long time. Worth every penny -- can't wait to go back over and over again!
