The Grizz is a must visit when in Denver. Unpretentious, chill, cheap drinks, and tasty bar food!
Best. Bar. Ever. The staff is great, the prices are great and the music is great.
I have literally been going to the the Giggling Grizzly (The Griz as we call it for over a decade. The atmosphere is bright and inviting so while it could be classified as a dive bar, and the drink prices would support that classification, it isn't dreary. The staff is friendly and on top of their game. They'll chat with you when it's slow, but when it's hopping they take care of their customers. The food is bar food, good bar food.
