I see some of the reviews showed less than positive because during this very trying time the process of becoming a donor entailed a lot more questions than most people are not aware of, I was one of them. Taryn LaSmith is an exceptional transplant coordinator. She took the extra time and explained the process. In turn I have now shared my experiences with others. So hopefully they won't be caught off guard as I was. It is an exceptional program and can help so many others in need.
What is this place...my father passed away on a Friday night..no sooner than my family and I came home from the hospital and tried to get some sleep my phone rang at 11pm. Again at 12:30am followed by a text message..5 am phone rings again. Finally I got the strength to answer and it was some woman talking about tissue donation. I couldn't believe it.
