We worked with Giffin & Crane to remodel and update a 1970 ranch style house in Santa Barbara. They are professional and we were very pleased with their work. It was a year and a half project, we were living in Florida at the time and watched the project from a webcam. Remodeling or building is a stressful undertaking and we had heard that G&C had a great reputation. I would definetely recommend them if you want the best.

My wife and I hired Giffin & Crane as general contractors to remodel a 1936 Tudor in the San Roque neighborhood of Santa Barbara. The job involved rebuilding and restoring the original windows, modernizing the electrical wiring, reinforcing some of the foundation, re-roofing the entire structure, installing copper gutters, remodeling two bathrooms to achieve a more period consistent look, painting the exterior and interior, building an exterior landing and stairs for a newly installed exterior doors, converting a fireplace f... read more

We were extremely pleased with Giffin and Crane -- professional, on time, and on budget. They remodeled our kitchen and two secondary bathrooms. Next time we have a project, we are just going straight to them and not bothering bidding things out with others. They are that good.

After doing interior design for nearly 50 years in Indiana, I moved to California and my husband and I contracted with Bruce Giffin to "remodel" our home. Giffin & Crane remodeled the exterior and interior of my 1340 sq. ft., 60 year old Santa Barbara Cottage. Although I had heard of G & C, it became quite clear that their reputation for the highest quality work preceded them. This became evident from day one as I witnessed the positive interaction of G&C employees and sub- contractors.
