I just had an experience with Gideon. I currently have a house less than two years old with two Trane units. I have had an issue with one of the units for a while now. One where the inside coils constantly drip water and was told I needed to consider replacing with an Epoxy coil system which they could get the part but would be $800 in labor. We have used Gideon for the past ***************************************** **** & replaced our outdated system in 2021. We have always had our system on a maintenance plan and extended warranty to cover out of pocket expenses. Their technician **** completed our most recent maintenance inspection. He took the time to answer questions and made the customer experience delightful. We highly recommend Gideon and have told our neighbors and friends about the quality of service/installation that Gideon provides.
These people are awful. Charge you to service units, and then 2 weeks later come back and find leaks in the systems. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE! They do not do the job right the first time!
Customer service is lacking at Gideon! I will not use them again. I am in the process of purchasing a home and needed an HVAC inspection. The first attempt to do the inspection didn't happen and noone notified us that there was a problem until we called to inquire. When we did we found that the technician did not have access to the home. This was untrue. My agent had provided all the instructions for entering the home and who to call if there was any issue. Quick diagnosis and repair. Great customer service. Gideons Tech **** ****** was knowledgeable, went over repairs and answered questions. Would definitely recommend.
We had an HVAC issue and reached out to Gideon Air. They told us it would take 10 days to get the part needed and we would be without AC for that length of time. When we were dismayed about that wait time and called them to ask about other options, they revised their original time estimate and had the HVAC fixed within a day--Âthis should have been our first warning.
