Beautiful little candy shop on the corner of Castro!
How have I not reviewed Giddy before?! This place is the best. Pick up your library materials at the Eureka Valley/Harvey Milk branch of the SFPL then walk over to Giddy and fill a bag with the best candies from around the world!
I recently visited Giddy Candy Shop, and it was a wonderful experience! This locally owned store has a fantastic selection of nostalgic candies, the latest Swedish Gummies and unique treats you won’t find in big chain stores. The chocolate covered dried cherries and amazing. Mary, the owner, is incredibly friendly and eager to offer recommendations, even letting me sample a few items before purchasing. Great selection!!
This review is long overdue. Giddy is the best candy store I've ever been to. Our family goes there every Friday night without fail, to pick up our favorites. Both the standards and unusual candies to try. The woman who owns the place is friendly, accommodating and always knows us and what we like. Love this place!
