RecommendedOrdered 1 dozen steamed crabs and got a special for 1 1/2 dozen for $28!! That’s a great deal plus the shrimp was perfectly streamed. This was our first crabs of the summer and they were great! The young man behind the counter couldn’t have been any nicer! Pretty excited to try their salads and deviled eggs too!!
Ordered 1dozen of blue point oysters and he gave us 14. Out of 14 oysters only 4 were good. Wonder why he gave us 14........probably because they knew they weren't any good and were trying to get rid of them ! Will never go there ever again and wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy. What a waste of $$ !!
Crabs so good, I'll travel all the way from Philly for them. 😉
Ordered two dozen blue point oysters and 2lbs of large shrimp. 10 out of 24 oysters were rotten. Shrimp was decent. Man at the counter was completely miserable and rude as hell. Spent 20 minutes just waiting to order my food while his phone ring off the hook with nobody answering. They weren’t busy. He even overlooked me and started serving someone two people behind me. Sea food was no good they knew that when they sold the food and they won't even compensate us for our order I would never eat here or tell anyone about this place
So I spent 118. At Gibbys Seafood East yesterday to try and lift my cousins spirit becuz in a 2 wk time frame, she lost her dad and yesterday her dad's last living sibling also passed....can you imagine? So my order? 4pds snow crab and 3 pds of shrimp, 1pd jumbo and 2pds extra large. 1st issue, my crabs were half pd short! Generally we order crabs here for convenience because it's in town but almost every time the crabs are usually overcooked. But today ended all business with this company. called DAYS ago to order a bushel of crabs for this evening. called yesterday to confirm and again today at 11:30. said all was good. then we get a call shortly before our pickup time to notify us ALL the crabs were sold out. Crabs are always great! Steamed shrimp are great! Prices are reasonable. I highly recommend.
