I love Giqnt Loop! I have participated in their annual rally twice -- and will do so every year that I'm not traveling elsewhere. I got a set of their bags which has gone on many adventures with me and although I consider myself to be rough on my equipment, they're bombproof. And the cherry on top is the people behind the product ... knowledgeable, reliable, responsible AND fun!
Just got 2 pairs of 24 inch Pronghorn straps. I was going to give one pair to a riding buddy until I put one strap in a loop, which ends up being about a 7 inch diameter. 7 inches! That makes a worthless strap for almost anything. Wont even go around an EMPTY luggage rack, let alone strap a bag top a rack. To use them I need 2 pairs to link together which means my buddy gets None. I can buy a lot of bungee cords for 40$.. You should remove the part about stretch from the description.
