The Avon Lake Giant Eagle is so underwhelming. The meat quality is low. The workers don’t seem like they are happy. The isles are very narrow where you have to take turns to pass because there is not enough room to go both directions in some isles. We stopped buying meat there and started buying meat at Heinnan’s although it’s more expensive. Pretty bad when I feel like in intruding by checking out inline, the cashier can barely take the time to acknowledge me because she’s too consumed about her current conversation to say anything to me she had scanned half my order before she even said hello.... employees like her don’t make me feel bad that they will be phased out in the next 3 years by the self checkout option.
I thought city chicken sounded good and it was on sale so I purchased a package. I have never been so disappointed. After preparing and cooking longer than required, I couldn’t even chew it. It was so tough and chewy. I made 6 and threw 4 away. I have not been happy with all the upgrades because they aren’t! A variety of selections is not available and the salad bar selections look like they have been around for days.
Moldy tomatoes purchased today. Of course the moldy side was facing downward.So fed up with this place. I’ve written several times and never even received a reply. Pathetic.

Picked up a pre made Cobb salad last night that was said to be packaged earlier in the day. My husband and I have been non stop sick sense eating it. I can barely lift my head to rush to the bathroom.. Already was not liking the store set up and now I got food poisoning..
