Pricing at Giant Eagle is typically high compared to other offerings in Cranberry. I do some opportunistic shopping when the deals/coupons make it work. However, I do like their pharmacy and their doubling up of gas rebates when you buy gift cards over the holiday - but then again, sometimes it is a better deal to buy the gift cards directly from the source when they have deals.The reason they lowered prices (in some cases) was that they jacked them up way too high.
There is a nasty foul mouth women working at this Giant Eagle. At first I thought she was a man because she kind of looks like a man. She was at the back of the store putting meat out. She was cussing about something. Totallly unprofessional. I did not see anyone in managment to tell them about her. Warning stay clear of her.
VERY,VERY EXPENSIVE......Call Wal-Mart and you will be AMAZED at how much Giant Eagle is OVERCHARGING. I went there once and paid \$47 and then got the exact SAME refill at Wal-Mart for \$12 !!! WOW talk about GOUGING.
all that i have had the privlige of doing my buissness with has been great, they all are always ready to help me, work with me, and most importantly they always treat me with respect... i have delt with alot of pharmaciec, and there is no compairison... giant eagle has been the BEST.... thank you...
Pros: Giant Eagle is one of my favorite grocery stores, good selection to include organic foods, parking is ample, Get Go is behind the building, easy access off highway, appears very cleanCons: this place can get crowded, miss the discounted tables in the back of storeRecommend: come to this Giant Iggle on non-weekends to avoid the crowds
Terrible customer service for the most part, and a REALLY rude grocery manager who would NOT let me use valid coupons. A couple nice cashiers, but most are snotty
I have frequented this store often and the produce I have viewed has appeared to be fine, however I have experienced the isles full of employees restocking the isles nearly everytime I recall being there. It is somewhat frustrating to have to go around and up another isle to get to what you want or simply just neglect to get that item,My primary complaint is that even with the so called discount the prices are pretty high! Oh and I HATE THOSE SELF CHECKOUT STATIONS!!!!I try to avoid those as much as possible!
I used to shop at this store because its the closest one to me. I stopped shopping here after seeing moldy, rotten produce there every single time I shopped for at least 2 months.I complained to the produce manager, then the store manager yet nothing changed so I simply took my business elsewhere (Heinens, perfect produce department there!)Not only is the produce department horrible, the aisles were always packed with employees during peak grocery shopping hours instead of during the night shift like most grocers do. We use this Giant Eagle several times a week. The customer service is great! (sometimes the floral lady is a little sketchy) The lines are usually quick and the food selection is good. We love the meat that is "no-hormone, no antibiotic, & grain fed. We really like using our card for the gas savings, it really adds up!
