Fresh, healthy, local food! The best!
The new menu items and the new look at the Battleground location are great! Love the kafta and other new things!
Sadly, the roasted vegetable gyro I ordered was lacking. Lacking eggplant, lacking fresh roasted vegetables - lacking flavor! The only good parts were the caramelized onions and crumbled feta. The pita was not fresh - the mushrooms were of the jarred variety and not roasted, the standard shredded lettuce & anemic chopped tomatoes topped it off. The counter staff were not quite rude - just condescending, and the restroom reeked of sewer gas. We won’t be back to the Cornwallis Rd. location!
Well gyro was from frozen state since they are all the same size and shape. Something for being fresh and paying almost high dollar for frozen which I could’ve made at my house for 1/4 the cost. Maybe next time have more of fresh than frozen.

A favorite for lunch. Steak and cheese is fantastic. Ghassan's fries are THE BEST in Greensboro. Consistent fabulous sweet tea too. Friendly, fast and excellent!!
I love the steak and cheese platter. Pack the salad in the sandwich and it's so tasty!!!
When I was working in Greensboro I would have lunch once a week with a coworker and on the weekends if I was running errands I would have lunch there. I always had the single platter with extra salad or fries. I loved it!! I have retired and live in WI now. Ever think of opening one here?? I really miss your food and the employees were always pleasant and I always got exactly what I ordered.
The food is always fresh and well cooked. The staff are friendly. They accommodate special requests willingly (like my extra crispy fires!!). i just love the place!!
