She asked me why my problem needed to be addressed today and then said I should tell my obgyn. No other exam or advice. Also, the girl at the front desk charged me a copay when I had already paid my yearly deductible. When I mentioned that to her, she claimed to have 'called' my provider, BCBS. When I called my insurance and asked if they had recvd a call from Cardinal Medical Group, they said no. Go elsewhere.

Loved Dr. Ghanta. Very knowledgeable, felt very comfortable with him and staff. Was able to get in and wait was not very long. Was Also able to get surgery scheduled quickly. Great experience! due to circumstance.
Dr. Ghanta and his staff went above and beyond to help when my father in law needed surgery. They assisted us in finding doctors and getting tests run prior to the surgery. Dr. Ghanta was very caring. He did an excellent job with the surgery and personally followed up afterwords.
Dr. Ghanta is wonderful! He's done two surgeries of mine. He's extremely personable which seems to be hard to find these days. He takes his time and explains the function of the organ affected and the procedure/surgery needed. I have recommended him to several people. He's the surgeon you want.
Dr. Ghanta did a biopsy on lymph nodes from my groin and did a wide skin excision for melanoma. A couple of stitches were left in the excision site and I developed a seroma at the biopsy site. After numerous aspersions and an additional surgery to collapse it, which failed, his exact words were I don't know what else to do for you. I'm out of ideas, but if I can ever help you in the future, let me know. Very unprofessional and left me in pain. Thank goodness for the Kirklin Clinic & UAB.
