Went there for the first time with my husband and we loved it absolutely beautiful views very clean cozy romantic setting we'll definitely be coming again !
Really disgusted that they sold to the Marriot. Now the prices are outrageously higher than number. And shame on Marriot for increasing the prices. This place such a good kept secret, calm and lowkey spot. And basically still is. Just has Marriot’s name attached to it with a huge bump up on the price
Spent some time at the Postcard Cabins in Machimoodus and I get the hype now. It’s cozy, it’s quiet, and it forces you to slow down in the best way possible. Fire at night, coffee in the morning, nothing but trees around you. No chaos, no rush, just a real break. Highly recommend if you need to disconnect for a bit and clear your head.
We stayed at "The Franklin" or as we called it "The Stanklin". The cabin reeked of ammonia and when we asked about the smell were told it should go away. 4 hours of airing the place out later and it seemed we had a third companion: eau de port-o-potty. We tried having a fire in the evening but the wood container was full of water which soaked the wood bundles.
