I absolutely love this! I needed a break and this was all that I needed plus more! I relaxed outside by the campfire everyday til nightfall and then enjoyed my quiet time (movie & reading) at night. This was so relaxing and the experience was everything. It was quiet and the neighbors respected every part of this journey. Planning on taking this stay again!
As promised, its a wooded, beautiful, quiet outpost-y vibe. The cabin itself is super cute, well-equipped and comfy. The site brings with it what you should expect... lots of bugs at night, so a your time around the fire does consist of a lot of swatting roaches off of your pant legs. Moths, I get. Roaches, dont love it. A few pro tips: the directions on Google maps (the default system in the Bonvoy app, by the way) are just deadass wrong. Not even close. I’ve been coming here for years and was due for another visit. The staff is great - very communicative - and even let me stay inside out of the heat when my car wouldn’t start. This is a great place to stay for peace and quiet and calm.
