NOT PEACEFUL. Construction site started at 8am on a Saturday that I could see through the trees, called guest services and was given “points” that did not even cover the stay (we left the site). I normally don’t leave bad reviews, but when you travel to have peace and quiet and there’s a sign that says no music and speak softly and they are litterally clearing brush for more sites it ridiculous and bad customer service.
We had an amazing experience, super relaxing and safe atmosphere. Our Guide was Lindy , and she is really that gurl ;Very attentive, informative, and all around very professional . Definitely will do again!
Great place to get some outdoor time but also a good nights sleep. Really enjoyed building the fire and cooking outside for all of our meals. I've read in some reviews that people had issues getting the fire going and had no issues myself. You will definitely need to gather some wood from the forest or bring your own wood. They give you large untreated logs that do not light super easily, but with what you can find in the woods around you it shouldn't be too hard. Update: This is the 3rd time we’ve stayed at this location, so I added some more photos and videos. We loved going on the nature trail and sitting outside with our coffees. Always a restful getaway. ☕️🌲🏕️☕️ We’ve stayed in these cabins twice already, and we love it here! The beds are cozy, and they really think of everything from hotel-like amenities to provisions and reading lights! I love how they offer suggestions on their blog for nearby activities. Glamping in the woods Stayed in a double bed cabin in Feb 2026. The postcard cabins are pretty standard but this one was showing a little wear and tear. The door hinge was broken and there wasn’t aluminum foil or olive oil in the cabin. Staff were helpful in dropping off the missing items once notified.
