Claims to be open at 8 am but doctor only comes at 9:45. What a waste
This is my family doctor's clinic. I was very disappointed that I was not able to get a prescription for a refill. I was asked to come back tomorrow, which makes me feel very sad. What is the point of having this clinic as my family doctor when there are others I can walk into? It will not take more than 5 minutes to get a refill prescription done.
The people complaining about the wait times don't understand Canadian healthcare... Its free, universal healthcare, of course you're going to need to wait and of course it won't be perfect. If you don't like the way things are at this clinic then try another and I guarantee you its the same, maybe even worse. Very rude staff. She didn't know if she was coming or going. She kept on taking walk ins and the waiting room was full. So far we have waited over 3 hours ans still don't know when we are going in. The most disorganized place I have ever been to. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS CLINIC TO ANYONE. UNLESS YOU HAVE A WHOLE DAY TO KILL. GOOD LUCK.
They really need a better system for walk-ins. When I called at 8:10 a.m., reception told me there were only two walk-ins waiting and advised me to come in. I arrived at the clinic by 8:30, but when I got there, a number of patients with booked appointments started arriving. I completely understand that patients with scheduled appointments are a priority — but if the clinic is fully booked every 10 minutes, they shouldn’t be taking walk-ins at the same time.
