I am genuinely impressed with Get the Funk Out Laundromat! I usually dread laundry day, but the experience here was fantastic and the results speak for themselves. The equipment is clearly top-of-the-line. These aren't your average, worn-out machines; they are powerful, efficient, and handle large loads with ease. It's obvious the owners invest in quality. I wish I could leave 0 stars. Totally done with my FORMERLY favorite local laundromat. Get the Funk Out, on 20/26 near D&B. (Clever name, but no longer a place i can recommend or will frequent.) Our dryer broke down today and we have to be ready for Monday. We were in the doors an hour before closing to dry 3 loads of laundry. Would’ve been a 20/30 minute session at the most. Father with 3 kids who works full time+. The service provided for pick up and drop off is utterly fantastic. It is the first time I have been caught up in who knows how long. It comes back perfectly folded or hanging, and takes mere minutes to put away all of our laundry completely. When I factor in the cost of laundry at home from machine, soaps, power, water and the sheer time... The price is well worth what they provide my family.
Terrible service and management. Way too overcrowded no matter time or day. Got there at 7:45 waited for machine to wash one bedding, finally got a machine it came out of wash at 8:45 and the attendant refused to let us dry and kicked us out. So according to your “25 minute dry” estimate (I only needed 10) we would have had plenty since you close at 9:30. Everyone else who was in there at the same time as us got to stay to dry their items. Recommend taking your business elsewhere.
I’m only writing this review because I’m disgusted in the way the older lady that works there was treating an older gentleman. He was expressing how his change wasn’t adding up after using their change machine. And her attitude was nasty!! She came back to say that it was because it was loud in there?? Not an excuse! She absolutely does not like kids. She came to tell me 2x that my kids should not be running around( they were not).
