wasn't open for my appointment – I made an appointment here to get a mani/pedi for my wedding. I don't ever get my nails done but this place was right around the corner from me and the reviews seemed alright so I decided to check it out. I called a few days in advance to make an appointment on Friday 6/13 and asked to come in at 10am. They asked if I could come at 10:30 and I said that was fine. More like 'Get Screw'd' – I went with a group of friends to get manicures. Some of the "women" who worked on our nails were extremely young and at least one was still in high school. I got a French manicure and it took her several tries to get some of the nails right. Overall it wasn't a terrible experience, but all our nails started chipping off just HOURS after leaving and all we did was go to dinner. I've had French manicures from other places last days with no problem. Don't waste your money on this place.
Great Mani and Pedi – I don't know what crazy lady wrote that the people who work at get nail'd stole money from her, but she is obviously making it up. I have been there many times and they have done an excellent job on my nails. They give helpful advice too! It's a very chic atmosphere, a great way to spend a sunday afternoon away from the cold!!! And at a great price!
The Owners are former Pick pockets – The owners of this salon are THIEVES!!! I was at the salon on 10/17/06 for a manicure and pedicure. Their service is AWEFUL but more importantly the guy that owns the place is a former pic pocket. After my subpar pedicure I sat down for a manicure. I had my Fendi Spy Bag next to me and inside my bag was a bank evelope with 2k that I needed to deposit into my account.
