I can scarecly believe this man is allowed to practice after my experience with him. I was referred to screen for a type of Tachycardia and was asked a few questions that he didn't bother to listen to my answers to. He bulldozed over my answers with rude comments on my weight, blatantly ignoring the progress I have been making on losing weight prior to the visit (more than 20lbs down) and telling me to eat in a way that is not appropriate for a patient with a history of disordered eating. I have been a patient of doctor Harrison for a couple of years now. This doctor has seen me through some very dark times and remained professional, caring, and objective in every interaction, he listens, takes the time to meet the patient where they are at and explains every recommendation thoroughly and in layman terms. I am truly appreciative to have him as my PCP and would recommend him to anyone.
Dr. De Sena is thorough & attentive. She treats her patients as individuals. If she sees the need, she doesn't hesitate sending patients to a specialist. I feel blessed to have her as my primary care physician.
Staff does not return calls, no sense of urgency, front desk secretary very unprofessional and rude, wait time to see him is ridiculously long. Do not recommend.
He completes a thorough exam and answers any questions you have. I’m very happy with the message system through the “Follow My Health” portal and his office staff have always gotten back to me in a timely manner.
I have had Dr. Christian since he came to Gessler Clinic. He is a great diagnostician. He is down to earth, compassionate are really cares about his patients. You may wait a little while in the waiting room but know that when it is your turn to see him you have his undivided attention.
She is a great dr and listens to all your complaints/worries that you may have going on medical wise. My only real complaint against her is that you have to be prepared for an hr and half + wait time pass your appointment time
This doctor told us in Dec 2021 that my mother's heart was fine-"See you in a year". She died 4 months later with aortic valve stenosis. The doctors at Winter Haven hospital spotted the problem immediately, but it was too late. Don't take your loved ones to this guy!
I have been seeing Dr Desena since the beginning of the year and she is great. She listens to what I say and doesn't make me feel like she is judging me. Absolutely would recommend her.
