This place takes me back to Quintons in Lawrence, Ks. It used to be a Quintons and has the same menu. I love the sandwiches and very cold beer. Atmosphere is also family friendly & appropriate for kids.

We love Gerts food and generally come in Saturday’s for lunch. However, more and more they are not staffed appropriately - and service is bad. Not for a lack of trying by the staff that is here. Simply too many tables for one waitress. We waited 35 minutes for an appetizer and never received drink refills. My grilled cheese sandwich was not grilled on one side and although we asked for ketchup we ended up having to go to the kitchen to ask again. Large portion of the menu items hot fresh. Wasn't as busy as I've seen in the past.
