Trato aceptable pero mejorable. Era mi primer embarazo y esperaba más atención y guía. La ecógrafa en cambio es la que más atención me prestó en las últimas semanas, cuando yo fui y dije que ya empezaba a tener contracciones, o cuando dije un día antes de mi cesárea que el bebé no se estaba moviendo. Un parto deseado natural acabó siendo cesárea, por motivos que se pudieron controlar y manejar mejor si la Dra me prestara más atención, y más que ya había pasado las 40 semanas de embarazo.
I couldn’t not say enough good things about Dr Shiu. I have had three pregnancies and with all I have dealt with preeclampsia. My previous OBGYN didn’t take any precautions with my care during my pregnancies even though I had a history of preeclampsia. The care i got with Trudi exceeded my expecations. Trudi was very attentive, answered all questions I had, assured I would be well taken care of which I was. Trudi and her staff were amazing I honestly can’t say enough. Give her a chance and you will not regret it.
I met Dr. Shiu at the hospital for the delivery of my second child. She was attentive, friendly, and calm - all of the things I was not during labor. She addressed every concern I had along the way and we had a successful delivery of my baby (avoiding a C-section which was the only thing I requested). Dr. Shiu is the best OBGYN! I started seeing her during the last half of my last pregnancy. She is the first OBGYN I’ve seen through Mercy and I had the best experience with her. I’m sad that I didn’t start seeing her sooner. She has an incredible bedside manner. She’s kind, funny and so easy to talk to. I am so thankful that my PCP recommended Dr. Shiu when I needed to see an OB/GYN. I have been seeing her for over a year now in various capacities and she has consistently been kind and helpful. She listens and it is clear that she truly cares about her patients. I look forward to our visits together. On top of that, she has empathetic and efficient staff surrounding her.
