I absolutely love Blair and Patrick. Blair is a genius with my hair. I couldn’t ask for anyone better for my hair needs, tips, and advice/knowledge with my hair. It’s very welcoming and warm in the salon. I love their love for the community and provide a safe place for some who may not have that regularly. Very thankful I found her!
I am 100% happy with my experience at Gertrude & Lloyd. Blair has been doing my hair for over two years using Davines products, and my hair has never been healthier! She brings a high level of expertise with her haircuts and color. Bonus; the salon is committed to sustainability and supporting our community. I highly recommend this salon.
Blair is absolutely incredible! I always feel listened to and supported in the decisions I make for my hair and I always leave with exactly what I’ve asked for! Blair also shares great tips and feedback regarding at home hair care to maximize hair/scalp health. Gertrude & Lloyd is the perfect vibe and is a safe space to build community in our little mountain town:)
This is a late review, but I just wanted to add my praise for Gertrude & Lloyd here. I got my hair cut by Blair about half a year ago and I was so pleased with the job she did. She gave me a precision cut that managed to incorporate some irregular layering into a simple and sweet mid-length bob. My hair continues to look wonderful since then. Blair was also very knowledgeable about the science of scalp and hair health, and she shared her knowledge freely. Thank-you so much for my wonderful haircut, Gertrude & Lloyd.
Blair and Patrick have cultivated something truly special in downtown Sylva—a space where everyone is welcomed just as they are. They treat their clients like family, and that warmth extends to my whole crew.
