Dr Gertler DOES know his stuff. He spends a lot of time listening, asking questions, testing, and getting to the bottom of things. After having inept doctors, including University of MD surgeons who misdiagnosed me, Dr Gertler ran the correct tests confirming his suspicions. After a year with incredible pain at times keeping me bedridden/on crutches, I am on medication that is helping with the pain, and have a plan for the future.
