I am a townhome owner for almost 14 yrs that Gerson Realty manages. Since the beginning I have had mixed feelings about Mike Gerson and the HOA. The come off rude and uninviting to homeowners who only want to improve their own portion of the property or to have something fixed that the HOA needs to do. They do not care about their tenants. I am a single mom living in the urban core of tempe where I am making just above the amount that would qualify me for food stamps and affordable housing benefits. Now they want to charge me an 8% increase during covid-19 where my job security is low. That should be inhumane, that should be illegal, but yes we live in AZ where it is profits over people.
