Dr. Andrew Gershon is a highly knowledgeable, competent and patient doctor. He explains everything beyond carefully and takes whatever time it takes to do so. I feel lucky to be his patient and know others will feel the same way.
I had my first root canal on Monday March 2nd 2020 with Dr Gershon. He explained everything he was doing made me feel very comfortable. I felt no pain at all. I don't write reviews but had to for this wonderful Dr. I would strongly recommend him to anyone that is looking for an endodontist.
Earlier this week I had a second root canal procedure performed by Dr Gershon. I returned to him because I trust his professional opinion and his work (painless!) If Dr Gershon can't save your tooth, no one can! He is honest (from the initial phone conversation) and will tell you exactly what he will be able to do (or not). Dr. Gershon was a pleasure to deal with after finding out I needed a root canal. He has a great sense of humor but once he starts the procedure it is pure business. Dr. Gershon could see that I was nervous throughout the procedure so he made sure to consistently ease my nerves. I would strongly recommend him to anyone that is looking for an endodontist.
Saw Dr. Gershon today, after a referral from Star Dental Smile on the UES. Fortunately he had an appointment the next morning. Superb. I/we were concerned that he wouldn't be able to do the root canal because of calcium build up, but after 2+ hours non stop in the chair, everything was done. The guy is funny, but once treatment starts all business (and refreshingly works alone..so no other assistants wandering in and out).
