Went to a new dentist today. Left immediately before any damage could be done. Used green toothpaste container from the person before that was flicked on the floor, broken plastic from some sort of machine next to the used toothpaste, electric tool for drilling/cleaning teeth on the floor that was going to go in my mouth, peeling/bubbling/water damaged wall paper, chipped wood with spider webs, greasy stained safety glasses that she handed to me, lone hair on the table, grease and stains on light magnifying glass. Can't say I would really recommend this dentist at all. They saw me for an emergency broken tooth which needed a root canal. The dentist missed a canal, which, fine I guess that is not incredibly uncommon, but it was a pretty large canal they missed according to my new endodontist who recognized it right away on a simple xray. Further, the root canal treatment I had was incredibly painful because the dentist didn't believe me when I told him I was not fully numb and that I needed more anesthetic. Dr. Dubin had been my dentist for two years and while he was excellent and took very good care of my dental needs his receptionist (I believe his wife based on family photos behind the desk) was terrible. She often would snap at patients, cut them off while they were asking a question, bark responses to them, and just basically be a horrible human being.
