Geronimo’s is easily one of my favorite spots in Downtown New Haven, and in my opinion, they make the best margaritas in town! I especially wanted to give a shoutout to Nicole, one of the managers. I stopped in for drinks last Friday, and she was incredibly kind, attentive, and helpful—truly representative of the great service I’ve come to expect from the entire Geronimo’s team. Thank you again for such a great experience. I’ll definitely be back!
For a southwest restaurant being in New Haven. It was pretty good. I would definitely go back. Keep in mind, I’m from New York City so that would be an hour drive but a well worth it hour drive.
Stopped by late on a Thursday evening. There were two bouncers checking IDs at the door, which felt a little unexpected for a "restaurant" but I guess its more a "bar". Once inside, it definitely had more of a club vibe,it was loud enough to make conversation difficult and felt cramped, especially with some guests who appeared to have had quite a bit to drink. Great food! The chile rellenos are made with large, juicy peppers. And the sauce is so delicious. The atmosphere is very open and in a location that’s close to hotels and other shopping areas. This is one of our favorite restaurants in New Haven, will definitely come back again. Highly recommended!
Absolutely great food , the chicken wings, lettuce wrapped tacos, and salsa and guacamole were perfect. Jessica our server, Mia our hostess and Nicole the manager were super friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend Geronimos in New Haven!
