Kind, caring, and smart!
Dr. Gero is the most compassionate doctor I have ever seen. She listens to you and spends a great deal of time with each patient.
Dr. Gero and her asst. are open, polite, a joy to interact with. She is the third primary care doctor I've visited in Venice. Though there was one other physician I did like, his office, scheduling, and staff were difficult. The other primary I saw with Gulf was so poor in performance and attitude, I could not wait to leave office. Aspire is a pleaseure
Dr. Gero was our family Dr., but every time I would call to see her,, I was told she wasn't available, and I would have to see the PA. , we had seen him a few times , but wanted to see our Dr, not the PA. When my son had the flu, we were told Dr. Gero had no openings, and that I could take him to the ER. We have a friend who is a Dr. so he saw my son, called in a prescription and told us to our Dr. the next avail appt. They dismissed us from the practice because we saw another Dr. RIDICULOUS
If I could give 10 stars, I would! Dr. Gero is the most caring, down-to-earth physician I have ever had the pleasure of having a relationship with. She spends as much time with you as you need and makes you feel like you are her only patient that she is seeing for the day. She truly cares and listens to you. She does not shut down any concern as being "silly." She really takes the time to understand you as a person so she can provide you with the best medical care that she can. I am truly lucky
The office and medical staff are very friendly and helpful. When seeing Dr Gero or ARNP Hibbs, I never feel rushed; they both take their time to listen to me. Waiting room tends to be cold, bring a sweater.
My daughter recommended Dr. Gero to me when we moved to North Port. I'm very glad she did! Dr. Gero takes the time to listen and talk to you. She gets me in right away. She also takes care of my 12 year old daughter. I highly recommend her!
