I frequent the new location in Collierville because it is close to my job and the staff is always friendly and polite. Stopped by the Germantown location yesterday to get a slice of cake and was greeted by a guy who appeared to be a Mgr/Supervisor, he was friendly enough. However, a young lady approached the counter to take my money and she was borderline rude and impolite. She did not acknowledge or greet me at all. Y’all! First time at this place and it did not disappoint. We started with the pork rinds and cheese—YUM. We followed with tender, tasty ribs and the best brisket I’ve had since I left Texas. The smoky deliciousness is so good that sauce is purely optional. Our server Darlene was a delight, and so were the deviled eggs. I highly doubt The Commissary needs my recommendation, but I’m giving it any way. Do we look happy or WHAT? — with Michael Sykes.
