Have been doing business with German Imports for several years. But not any more, cause I found out that the owner let two of his mechanics go, cause he was closing the shop. He said he did not want to work on cars anymore and he was hanging it up. Which in turn, was a lie, just to get rid of the two guys. One was the best mechanic ever, I could not find anyone to fix my car, and he could fix anything I had a problem with on my car. Very friendly and honest. Serpentine belt failure shredded lower radiator hose. No part available locally so car basically disabled. Kim drove me over to car rental facility. Remained in parking lot until sure I was in a vehicle. Part came in late on a Friday and car repaired. Shop closed Saturday but Kim gave me personal cell number and told me to come pick up Saturday morning so I could turn rental and save a few $$s. I asked questions about servicing another VW I have and they were upfront and honest about needed service ... read more

German Imports has always taken great care of my 2003 vw Beetle. They always call with a price estimate before they do the work . Great service Always!

I began getting my 2005 VW fixed on march 25th, it is now June 23rd... The engine and ABS lights were on. I was told not to worry about ABS sensor and the engine light "sensor" was fixed for about 2 miles and then it came back on- I have now taken the car back five (5) times and spent over $500--there is a warranty for work done for 6mos or 6000 miles. However, i was told more senors possibly needed to be replaced and more $ spent and that i did not drive the car enough(??? perhaps a gas additive would help???) Long story sh... read more
