Our salesman used deceptive sales tactics to close our sale. We had a competing offer with another dealership who offered a lower interest rate and $1000 more for my trade in. I had my car towed to Germain Mazda due to ************* change not placing an oil filter on my car so the motor locked up. I called and talked with Germain Mazda customer service mechanic every other day to find out about the parts (motor). He never called me with any information and when I called him he always had general information, nothing specific. I recently had the pleasure of stopping into Germain Mazda of Columbus this past weekend. I had been to multiple car dealerships without being able to find the *** at the payment I was looking for as well as a good number for a trade in I had. Not only did Germain Mazda give me a good number on my trade in but they went above and beyond in order to get me to my goal monthly payment. I bought a car from them and paid in full and they signed over the title but they had to keep the car in order to fix something that was wrong with the airbag. 2 weeks go by of them not being able to fix the airbag because someone ordered the wrong piece twice for them to eventually call me and tell me that they are unable to fix the airbag and that they were going to have to refund all of my money because they were unable to sell a car with a broken airbag to anyone. I just recently bought a used car from this place. The sales person was ******, a retired veteran, and I must say he was out of this world, took great care of me, had several cars ready to go for me to test drive and even stayed late knowing I was working 12 hour shifts. My complaint is that I did buy an AS IS used car but on the first day of driving it the check engine light came on and it came out of C mode or comfort mode and pulled into gear quite hard.
