I had the worst experience of any auto shop/mechanic here. When I picked up my car from a collision my hood latch no longer worked, after they did front end repair. They argued either I didn’t tell them it was broken after the collision, or that I did it in the 12 hours I had the car before noticing given they denied any responsibility. Saying I didn’t mention it is extremely concerning given it was in a front end collision. I would recommend. After months of the repair being made there was a noise it made afterwards. They got the insurance approval and replaced the part.

I’ve had to bring a car to Gerber three times over the last five years due to an accident not of my own fault. Dealing with someone else’s insurance, the chaos around dropping off and picking up a car, and the general inconvenience of an accident is brutal. Gerber helps rip the bandaid off with the least amount of pain. They work directly with the insurance company, arrange rental cars with rides to and from the rental facility, and give daily updates on the repair status.
