My initial review of this business was high praise. I was involved in an accident in 2024 repairs were made quickly and effectively. I had an issue with an exhaust pipe that began sinking and was given a year warranty for repair. Good afternoon. Back in November, I was in a car accident so I made the decision since Gerber was about a mile and a half from my house to have it taken there to be worked on. Started out great with updates, then getting to the middle of December, I was getting updates that did not correlate to what they were telling me.Then towards the middle of December, I was told that those are corporate updates that get sent out via text and I need to be on the lookout for one that has a name attached to it as that is the actual update.... read more
I live in another state but was going to be here visiting for one month so decided to go ahead and have my vehicle repaired while I was here. Received the initial estimate of $1148, final bill was $2031. I did receive text messages every Tuesday and Thursday informing me where my vehicle was along the repair process. They returned the car with multiple issues that were either not repaired or self induced by them and tried to hide their poor maintenance. -Steering is pointing 20 degrees or more off from center. Showing they didn't even verify the car was in proper order before returning it to me. -Engine light was hidden when they returned the car but came on the next day showing they didn't even repair the car fully. -They destroyed the capacitance on the car’s battery.
