I bought a basic boat unseen at the Boston Boat Show. Needed advice called them during the sales process on recommendations from other lake community members in New Milford and spoke with Jay. I wanted to do some custom morning covers in Brookfield. So they delivered the boat from Bridgeport to Federal. Jay picked up the boat from Federal the day I called him, as the boat has sat for a year and a half Jay recommended they do a preseason check and Spring tune up if needed. Staff was extremely helpful and exceptionally nice.
My wife and I had just recently sold our fishing boat of 9 years and were looking to switch to a pontoon boat since we now have a slip on a lake (not Candlewood). Jay was great to work with, walked us through the whole pontoon style of boat, and educated us on key differences between pontoons and tri-toons, the brands they carry, and the various trim levels within each brand. I rented boats several times over the last three years, most recently last September and the boat was brand new and service was outstanding. I needed the cancel a reservatiion due to a health issue for this weekend and Jay treated me fairly. Refunded my rental payments less a minimum processing fee which was completely fair. - We will be rebooking soon and doing much more business with Gerards. Rich
