Kind, compassionate, thorough, and a gifted surgeon.
I have been going to Dr Lugo every 6 months for many years due to my fair skin and sunburn abuse most of my early life. During my check up visit in December, Dr Lugo saw a spot on my shoulder that just didn’t look right. He performed a biopsy and the result was Melanoma. Luckily the spot was new and the type was Stage 1. I had surgery soon after with a surgeon recommended by Dr Lugo and everything went well. Dr. Lugo has been my Dermatologist for several years. He and his entire staff are always very pleasant, courteous, and professional. Dr. Lugo is a very knowledgeable and skilled physician, who explains things well, and performs top quality procedures surgery. My mom is also a patient, and she feels the exact same way I do.

Dr. Lugo saw me on short notice after a lab report showed a cancerous site on an ear. Although I was the last patient of the day, he was kind and professional and showed that he realized that such a diagnosis, however minor, is very upsetting to a patient.
The Best!!!! From checking in to checking out- couldn’t ask for more friendliest, knowledgeable, loving, relaxing and loving care from the staff and doctors!
