I acquired and eye infection due to exposure to raw human sewage. Mr. Hershewe would not listen to the cause of my eye infection. He would not treat the infection until I was subject to 24 separate blood test, a spinal tap ( known as a lumbart puncture),a CT scan and a review from the infectious disease. by that time the damage was done and it was too late. Could care less about Vets

My wife spent many months going through the VA system trying to find treatment for her condition. Then her in system neurologist got permission for her to see a specialist. Dr. Hershewe. Who her doctor had worked with before. After going to his office she was told the VA did not submit the paperwork correctly and the very rude staff members had her in tears before she left. After following up with the VA she went back and got all the paperwork in the order that Dr. Hershew's staff had requested and had a VA staff member send... read more

Did this provider use excessive foul language? Not at all! They are always respectful and courteous! Were the restrooms clean at this provider's office? Yes, they were immaculate! Were the waiting room chairs comfortable at this provider's office? Yes Were you able to get answers to simple questions from this provider without scheduling an appointment? Yes Was this provider argumentative or easily angered? Not at all, they were one of the kindest, most attentive individuals I've ever met

Yes, the office was well organized and taken care of Does this provider remember you and your circumstances at every appointment? Yes Did this provider listen to your input and concerns? Yes Did the staff make you feel uncomfortable when you called with questions or concerns? Yes, they made me feel like I shouldn't have called Did this provider have an entertaining selection of waiting room magazines? Yes

Did this provider thoroughly explain the risks and benefits of your treatment? I think so Did this provider ever take personal phone calls while in the appointment room with you? No, they've never taken personal calls with me Did this provider seem well-trained and experienced? Absolutely, they were an expert! Did you notice a foul odor when you arrived at this provider's office? No, I didn't notice an odor Was this provider's office clean? Yes everything was neat and sterile
