Doing a review for a therapist is not easy. But Gerald is easy to talk to. He has changed my life drastically in a couple months of treatment. If you need to talk to someone I would highly recommend giving him a call
After countless therapists over a ten year span I found Gerald online and this man has changed my life for the better. He was more than well equipped to treat not only my current mental health conditions, but treated my trauma with the help of EMDR. Highly recommend.
Be careful. I’m not sure that this counselor really knows how to help all of the disorders he has listed as being qualified to help.
I am giving Gerald 3 stars (neutral) not because he is a bad therapist (I don't know what kind of therapist he is), but because he failed my hiring interview- we were a bad match, and he wouldn't give me a simple, straight answer to a straight question. He also kind of lost his patience with me after only 15 minutes. As a therapist you must be able to detach from what I throw at you. If you get emotionally invested you won't do a good job. I tried on purpose to push your buttons, and I succeeded -> you fail.
