My husband and I shopped for pre-need for his parents in both Hagerstown and Frederick several years prior to requiring funeral home services in 2021. This was our first experience going to funeral homes for pre-need. Scott and his family have always treated our family the best through difficult times. Unfortunately, we're here again with a fantastic brother in law who passed. Scott went to school with our sons. Additionally they have 1 of only 2 cremation facilities in this area. Very convenient. I remember when that was all done in Baltimore. Without the additional transportation costs, Minnich was the best choice.

My mom's husband,Norman,brought my mom's ashes to minnichs to have them put in a permanent urn,he also had 8 small necklace urns to have my mom's ashes put in them also.I checked 4 of the necklaces and not one had my mom's ashes in them,what a big disappointment as that was my last remembrance of her.
