I have attempted to write multiple offers on listings that Gerald has. I will advise that you not waste your time unless he is representing you as well. Communication is very poor, he is dishonest and timelines are not honored. There are good realtors out there that abide by reasonable ethical expectation, Gerald is not one of them.
I purchased hunting land in 2013 through Gerald. I told him what I was looking for. He gathered several properties that matched my description. Then he spent the whole day showing the properties to me. I signed the paperwork same day and the rest was done online with electronic signatures. He had a list of resources for financing and closing. He made the process easy.
In October, 2018 Gerald Geishart brokered the sale of a vacant parcel in Necedah on behalf of an elderly man suffering from dementia. Closing documents show Geishart received a commission of over 25% on an $8,800 sale for a seller he admittedly knew was of diminished capacity. Had he not known would have been one thing, but the fact he admitted he had long known this gentlemen suffered the effects of dementia and was not being properly represented is unconscionable. Shameful.
Recently purchased hunting land listed by Gerald "The Land Man" Geishart. Very disappointed with his performance throughout entire process i.e. sub-par online listing, lack of knowledge of the property, poor agent/seller communication, and poor attention to detail.
