Dr Beckham ran echocardiograms on my heart for 10 years watching my bicuspid valve. In November 2023 he noticed my valve was showing signs of slowing down causing my EF to move to 60%. Told me to check back in 6 months later May 2024. However if I started having chest problems to let him know. By January 2024 my EF fell to 20%. My chest felt like a heavy pressure. Thoughtful, kind and calming are just a few words to describe this outstanding physician. Dr. Beckham is so caring, he sincerely cares about his patients, as well as the people who love them.
I would NOT recommend Dr. Beckham. (Love his staff, they are sweet and caring. But definitely cannot recommend Dr. Gerald Beckham) I was put on phentermine 10 months ago and my endo felt like it hurt my heart. So she sent me to him to check. Three years ago my heart had nothing wrong structurally (Proven by an echocardiogram since I failed a stress test). This time I got an echocardiogram done and Dr. Beckham saw me after for 1 minute. What's not to love? Smart. compassionate and easy on the eyes. Only problem I have is my heart races when I see him! Nice, too.
Dr. Beckham has been treating my 90 year old dad for the last several months for a degenerative heart condition and my dad and I couldn't be happier with the treatment he's received. My dad doesn't have a history of trusting doctors in general, but has developed a deep trust in his ability as have I.
