Due to poor circulation, I had a severe infection covering 50% of my lower leg. Two different vascular surgeons did not recommend surgery, probably due to my advanced age. For 3 years, I went to wound care and endured numerous therapies requiring very strong medications. Terrible. Since August 29, 2022, my legs are scarred. I was left with a huge football shaped hematoma that became deeply infected. I was on 2 strong antibiotics until the infection cleared. The doctor was away right after surgery, and his colleague did a 5 minutes phone chat and reviewed a picture of the infection, called in a few prescriptions, and then billed Medicare for the crisis intervention. I recently had a surgical procedure with the doctor at Winthrop Hospital. I highly recommend him. He is kind, considerate and personable. He takes the time to answer questions and is calming if you are nervous. Don't hesitate to make an appointment with him if you need a vascular surgeon. His office staff are wonderful as well.
i have History of DVT and PE in the pass due to multiple heath issues and workload . swelling and severe pain to both lower extremities . my cardiologist refer me to see the DR .my first visit seeing the DR . he was able to prescribe tactile medical compression boot that help me so much. thanks again .
