This is THE place for great NY Italian food! – Let me start out by saying that this place is just amazing! Its so nice having a place like this here in the triangle. By this I mean a real good home cooked Italian place that has that NY restaurant flare. Fellow NYers will know what I mean by this. Consistently Good – I have been there a half-dozen times and have never been disappointed. Everything on the menu looks good, but the lunch veal parmigiana is so good that I have a hard time getting to try anything else. Big portion, real veal, delicious, with pasta, a generous salad, and garlic knots - all for $9.99. I haven't seen real veal for anywhere near that price elsewhere. Server was attentive, even though she was quite busy.
My new go-to spot – Excellent pizza. You can even see the man making it right as you walk in. We ordered a medium pizza and rice balls as an appetizer. Pizza was fresh and thin crust, you can really tell this place takes the extra step to make the real thing. The rice balls were even fresh as opposed to some places I tried and Im pretty sure they were frozen. The meal came with garlic rolls too and was priced very fairly! This is my new spot for pizza now in Cary I can see myself going there weekly.
Most tasteless pizza we have ever had; not pleasant owner – After reading the reviews, my husband and I ordered a pizza last night. This pizza was completely tasteless and we were both surprised and disappointed. For $25 one would expect a pizza to be delicious. Morrisville's Very Best Pizza – You don't want to miss stopping by Georgina's for their fresh and fabulous New York style pizza! The flavor is incredible! While waiting for your pizza, be sure to try the fresh baked garlic knots! Loaded with garlic, hot and fresh out of the oven! A MUST in the Cary/Apex area – As one reviewer puts it, the best pizza in NC!! Food is delicious too. I've been here quite a few times now, lunch and dinner (their lunch menu is reasonably priced with great options as well as lunch specials) and have tried many kitchen items as well as pizza, and I'm pleased to say that each and every time I have been pleasantly surprised. Too big for their britches! – As a long standing patron of their takeout menu, I have endured improperly packed "leaky" entrees, a few "not up to par" meals, as well as a one time smaller portions deal.All because, it is the closest to the NY style Italian foof I grew up eating. LGBTQ BEWARE – I was scanned up and down by the hostess when we entered the restaurant, and I doubt because she thought my style was incredible. She seemed taken aback, then silently seated us. She seemed inconvenienced when we requested a seat out of the direct sunlight. Then, the first waitress took our drink order, but never came back until we were almost ready to leave. Great neighborhood restaurant – My husband and I are working our way through the menu and enjoying every mouthful. The garlic knots are addictive. I especially love the the focaccia sandwich and the eggplant hero. After a busy weekend, it's nice to find a restaurant open on a Sunday evening.
