We watched whales spout the whole time we were there. I never get over the thrill of seeing that plume of water and spray shooting up out of the waves!
Great view, great service (except the brown haired girl at the front greeting people and taking names she was NOT very friendly) food was delicious and will defiantly be back...
We are from out of town and we're celebrating my birthday there. They got my fiancé's order wrong and the chicken cordon blue was blubbery and seemed undone. I complained and they corrected my fiancés order and I sent mine back. I ordered a steak instead and it was much better. They also offered me a free dessert, which I took. The food was delicious and the servers in the bar section were so friendly and helpful. My friend and I were in Oregon for the 1st time and loved the experience at Georgie's!
They don't take reservations, but put our name on the wait list when I called. We were seated not too long after arriving. Got a great waitress and all the staff were friendly, appeared genuinely happy to work there and went the extra mile to provide great customer service. Claim chowder was delicious. Will definitely go back when we're in Newport.
