The service is REALLY going down hill!!!!! – My family stays in Seattle every year for the Thanksgiving holiday. It has been a tradition for the past 5 years. For the last 2 years we have stayed at the Fairmont. The hotel is very nice, convenient to the holiday activities and has afternoon tea. We have been going to Afternoon Tea for the past 4 years. Food Born Illness – My boyfriend and I had the unfortunate experience of dining at The Georgian the night before Thanksgiving. Instead of spending Thanksgiving day with friends and family, the day was spent throwing up from 3 am to 5 pm. This not only ruined our Thanksgiving plans, but also the next 4 days as we tried to recover. It took 5 calls to various managers before I heard a response to my complaint. Needless to say, I will never dine at The Georgian again.
