On August 7, 2025, I visited Georgia Skin & Cancer Clinic in Hardeeville, SC to be evaluated for a lump on my right leg. I was seen by Emma Laura Makatura, PA, who administered a steroid injection to the area and advised that the lump should decrease in size within approximately two weeks. On September 2nd and September 5th, I contacted the office via email, phone and patient portal, reporting that the lump had split into two and that I suspected a skin infection had developed at the injection site. My experience was great. I saw Emma Laura. My wait time was short and everyone I encountered was kind and professional. From my experience I would highly recommend. Date of visit was Oct 30, 2025
Dr.Emma is one of the best! She is very sweet and makes you feel comfortable. The wait was not very long at all. If I could give 100 stars I would.
I have to come here once a month for a medication I’m on, every visit I wait at least 45 minutes. The girls behind the desk are not friendly at all, and when I finally get called back I have to wait at least another 20 minutes to be seen. On top of that, they have had confusion on their end my last two visits which has both times caused my prescription to be late. Do not recommend at all
